What can I expect at my first visit?
Your first visit includes a comprehensive evaluation, movement assessment, education, and a personalized treatment plan. You will be able to share your story and ask questions without feeling rushed. An internal exam is never required and is only performed with your consent.
Is pelvic floor physical therapy painful?
No. Treatment should never be painful. Sessions are always guided by your comfort level and adjusted to your needs.
Do I need a referral from a physician?
No. Florida allows direct access to physical therapy, so you do not need a physician referral to start care.
I have been to pelvic floor physical therapy before, can you still help me?
Yes. Many of our current clients have had prior experiences with pelvic floor therapy. We utilize a whole-body approach to find the “why” behind your symptoms and get to the root cause. We provide a unique experience for each and every person who walks in the door.
Do you have aides or students?
No. You will work one-on-one with Dr. Kristy Clements, a pelvic floor specialist with over 10 years of experience every session for the full hour.
